She actively participates in academic activities related to Family Medicine and is a visiting faculty at Sri Sathya Sai General Hospital, Puttaparthi
She is committed to the practise of current and evidence based medicine and has been updating herself by attending continuing medical education programmes and doing various online courses conducted by PHFI & NPTEL in the topics of thyroid disorders, Gestational diabetes mellitus,Research Methodology & Tuberculosis.

She regularly attends the International diabetic conferences conducted by Dr Mohan’s Diabetes Specialities centre at Chennai & updates her knowledge to implement into her practice

She conducts regular online classes for students at St John’s medical college For Diploma in Family Medicine
She got Distinction and overall academic excellence in Distance Fellowship in Diabetes and management (DFID) , CMC Vellore
